Funding awarded by the National Heritage Council (NHC) of South Africa to OpenHeritage allowed us to complete the Vernacular Architecture of the Eastern Cape project. The very exciting result of this is the newly published eBook!
We hope that this project will encourage tourism in the Eastern Cape, with the eBook used as promotional material for heritage management. 

The information gathered is publicly available on the South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) (our national inventory), as well as the website developed for this project: South Africa Vernacular Architecture.
